Hikarigaoka Park Town is a planned town in which the first apartmens were
built in 1983. Construction completed in 1992. Hikarigaoka town consists
of 186 ha. which is approximately 40 times the size of Tokyo dome.
34,000 people now live in Hikarigaoka which is well served by local ameneties.
Hikarigaoka park has many sports facilities (tennis, baseball, athletics)
and three local gyms are nearby.
At the center of Hikarigaoka lies the IMA shopping center and Hikarigaoka
station. Hikarigaoka station is the first stop on the Toei Oedo line which
ensures a seat for the morning commute. This line serves Shinjuku, Roppongi
and Daimon directly.
